A small and weak troll, she was picked on by the others. Constantly beaten up and pushed around she went through childhood living one beating to the next.
Her father dispaired, being a great hunter and fighter for his home town. He tried and tried to teach Noolah how to fight for herself... Each attempt ending with a hurt Noolah and a frustrated father.
After one particular training session Noolah's father sat her down and told her: Some home "truths":
"Ya be no hunta' Noo... Ya not be no fighta'... Ya not be no use at all. Ya destined t' be beaten an' pushed 'less ya fight for ya self..."
Particularly upset and distraught Noolah wandered her home village for a place to cry to herself... This was not to be.
On the way to her favourite spot, Noolah was ambushed by a group of female trolls. The biggest and strongest of them stepped before Noolah and said:
"Wha' ya be doin' on ma land?"
Noolah stayed silent... Preparing for the inevitable beating to come. The troll smiled and stepped forward to start her attack, when something unexpected happened.
Noolah, pushed by fear, distress and anger, placed her hand upon the other Troll's chest and watched as the force of Earth itself struck out. The female troll, completely unexpecting this attack, fell to the ground unconcious. Struck with this incredible sight the other trolls scattered leaving Noolah standing with the other troll.
An old ork stepped from the doorway of a building near by and said, in a small and weak voice:
"I'm impressed Troll... The "Earth Shock" is a skill only true Shamans can learn..."
Noolah looked at the ork, then back to the troll.
"Wher' do i go to see da Shamans?"
"Seek the shamans of Orgimmar... "
Noolah ran all the way home, a new kick in her step. She gathered her belongings and snuck quietly into the Armoury of her house. She picked up a large axe, it was her Father's best hunting axe and would serve her well in her travels... She hoped.
She stopped at the doorway of her home, she looked back and whispered a silent promise to her father:
"I be a Shaman, fatha'. I not be so useless... I'll show ya!"
With this she ran out of the village, a single tear staining her cheek.
