Mary Sue Test

For those who don't know, a Mary Sue is a character that has none or few flaws, never fails, is beautiful, popular or powerful, a glorified self-insertion of the creator, etc. Often a combination of those. You don't really want your character to be a Mary Sue. In certain cases, if played really, really well, they won't detract from anything, but that's rare. So, here's a test to see how much of a Sue your character is!

Note, the test is very general, as it's made for anything. Roleplaying, fanfiction, all that. There are two RP-specific questions, the rest is made with anything in mind. When the general questions say "written", assume they say "played".

Another note, if the test says your character is a Mary Sue, don't worry. First of all, it's just a test, on the internet. Second, they can be good if played incredibly well. Third, there's always character development.

Most likely Not-Sue. Characters at this level could probably take a little spicing up without hurting them any.

Tak is interesting, but I don't think much that applied to her was mentioned.

Generlly this test doesn't work out fantastic for WoW, though it will point out obvious Mary Sue characters to the person playing them.

It's not perfectly suited for WoW, no, but if your character is a Sue and you're honest during the test, I'm 99% sure it will tell you the truth.

I kinda ignored questions like 'Does you character have a magical weapon?' and 'Do they fly?' because everyone in WoW has a magical weapon and almost everly lvl 70 can fly

And that's where things become relative. Is your weapon magical in a very unusual way, or very powerful? Can your character fly without common means of flying?

Don't mix up gameplay and RP. Every question in the test should be answered relative to what's common in the Warcraft universe. For example, having neon-colored hair is fine, if you're a troll or a gnome.
